Mycoop&#8217;s text messaging feature makes it simple for you to do just that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting started<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Unlimited Service Plan: <\/strong>Make sure your building is upgraded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mycoop.com\/pricing\">Unlimited<\/a> service plan. This plan offers unlimited text messaging for your building and is the only way to activate this feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2) Resident Opt-In: <\/strong>Text and Email are set as default for all residents in a building with an upgraded plan. As a result, no action is needed unless a resident opts-out and chooses to not receive text messages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1274\" height=\"1052\" src=\"https:\/\/mycoop.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Mycoop_text_messaging_1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1344\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3) Create A Building Alert:<\/strong> Text messages can only be sent through &#8220;Building Alerts,&#8221; which can only be sent by Admins.
