<\/b>New <\/i>Yorker (yawker<\/i>) at heart.\u00a0 Passionate, creative and motivated.\u00a0 Love the beach, helps to clear my mind and de-stress from the fast pace city grind.\u00a0 Work hard, play hard!\u00a0 Always up for a challenge.\u00a0 Enjoy the flexibility of working from home.\u00a0 Doing what I love, making people happy and empowering women is my dream job!<\/p>\n

What do you like most about where you live?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/b>Two words: “Martha\u2019s Bakery”. The area where I live is cozy, quiet and intimate \u00a0a short walk to all local amenities-grocery, coffee shops, boutiques, laundry.\u00a0 More living space and biggest perk, you can have a backyard with grass and a tree! Young, lively, growing neighborhood.\u00a0\u00a0 Traditionally Italian and Greek.\u00a0 Cultural vibe with various authentic restaurants and lounges.\u00a0 Quick commute into the city for work and easy route to the Hamptons to visit family and spend time relaxing at the beach.<\/p>\n

What would you want to improve?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shopping.\u00a0 Retail\/Boutiques for us shopaholics and fashionistas!\u00a0 Astoria has a bunch of mom and pop shops which is great, but is lacking high-end shopping, latest trends, fashion forward quality apparel.\u00a0 This is one of the many reasons I partnered with Gina, fashion designer, to fill a void and create that niche in the area. Giving women of Astoria the opportunity to shop luxury and utilize our services in styling, personal shopping, closet organization and custom-made clothing has helped us take our business to the next level.<\/p>\n

What would you use mycoop for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/b>To connect with our neighbors who are our potential clients.\u00a0 Inform women of a new stores opening in the area.\u00a0 Post events\/trunk shows for our business.<\/p>\n

How do neighbors currently stay connected?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/b>More of the old fashioned way – A knock on the door or a friendly wave or greeting backyard to backyard, porch to balcony.\u00a0 Flyers posted on phone poles and mailboxes. \u00a0By phone and social media.\u00a0 I think my grandma has a facebook page..if she can do it, using myCoop will be a piece of cake.\u00a0 This platform is the perfect way to stay connected with your neighbors.\u00a0 Convenient, easy and informative.<\/p>\n

Tell us something unusual\/unique about your building or your neighbors?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I live in a 3 story walk up, all tenants are young professionals who are respectful and welcoming.\u00a0 We are the first tenants to be living in this newly renovated building.\u00a0 It was previously owned by an older women who hadn\u2019t renovated in 50 years.\u00a0 You can imagine the condition it was in but my landlords put their blood sweat and tears into it and couldn\u2019t be happier with the results.\u00a0 It was the first house they bought and flipped so you knew it was \u201ctheir baby.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0The reason I signed the lease was not only because I fell in love with the open concept and outdoor space, but because my landord\u2019s are great people.\u00a0 Cool, down to earth laid back and straight shooters.\u00a0 I\u2019m a sucker for \u201cgood people.\u201d\u00a0 They are hard to find, hence why you need to sign up for myCoop to connect with them!<\/p>\n
